I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard someone talk about the Motorola Droid getting Flash support, but this time it's the real deal. The folks over at Android Central are at the MWC 2010 in Barcelona, and the Adobe people have confirmed that Flash support will indeed be coming to the Droid, they just won't tell us when. Not only this, but they got their hands on a Droid actually running Flash.
At first look, it was actually shocking to see a mobile device running a flash application as it would on a web browser. As I kept watching though, I knew there was still much work to be done. The touch controls were very shaky, and the performance was O.K. at best. No wonder Adobe wouldn't give them a release date. They probably don't even have one themselves. Saying this, Flash support on the Droid is indeed a reality and in working order. Sure there are some kinks to work out, but hey, that's what they pay the guys over at Adobe for.
